The easiest way to travel by public transport to the Keukenhof Gardens is to take the Keukenhof Express Bus. You can catch the bus from Schipol Airport. Keukenhof Express (Bus No. 858) will take you to the gardens.

Excellent
This is a must if you are in Amsterdam during Tulip season. We rented bikes right outside the garden very easy and the train is super flat and easy to cycle on, and the views are just magnificent.

Plan to spend a 1/2 day to whole day at Keukenhof. There is a lot to see, do and eat! Great place for families. My kids loved the playground. It was easy to navigate and get ready to walk.
