Important information

If you take the Keukenhof bus and get off at the Keukenhof stop, it is a 15-minute walk to the bike tour start location. Keep this in mind along with your travel time.

This 2.5 hour bicycle tour, limited to a neat group of six, pedals its way through the charming heart of Lisse and into the sprawling flower fields. Let a expert local guide unveil the blooming fields and show you the best places to take photos.

The tour also includes a visit to the Agatha Church, and your guide will tell you all about the rich history of Keukenhof and other notable sights in Lisse.

The ride will pause for a 20-25 minute interlude at De Tulperij. You'll gain access to a flower field tucked behind the bulb nursery - another great backdrop for photos complete with amazing views of the blooms!

In the show garden, feast your eyes on a stunning variety of tulips, hyacinths, and daffodils, and relax a while in the flower greenhouse for coffee or tea paired with a pastry (included). A great introduction to tulip season in The Netherlands.

The season starts with Daffodils and Hyacinths, followed by the spectacular Tulip fields in April. Tulips might be blooming in March but no guarantees can be given.

The easiest way to travel by public transport to the Keukenhof Gardens is to take the Keukenhof Express Bus. You can catch the bus from Schipol Airport. Keukenhof Express (Bus No. 858) will take you to the gardens.

Excellent
My sister enjoyed a wonderful ride around the tulip fields. The tour was better than expected. Our guide described the tulip industry to us and we got to stop and has tea and a waffle cookie!
