The Jerónimos Monastery is a National Monument and was classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. Step onto these significant grounds for a snoop around inside, where you can explore the whole place and ponder its homage to Portuguese identity and culture. Don't forget to look up at the frescoed vaulted ceilings!

Ticket is for the cloister only and it was stunning! Had to wait in a long line to get inside even though we had a ticket purchased prior to our trip. The place was incredibly stunning!

Thankfully i was early here. It seems a populair place for everyone. I recommend coming before start to have the least waiting time. Besides that it was very interesting and beautifull

Bit worried as after I purchased there were some iffy reviews. The bar code said the previous month, but worked on entry. Got in much quicker by buying tickets online, so all good.
