Riding the tram is a famous Lisbon experience you don't want to miss, this time with a unique advantage – the ride is a closed circuit. That means no stopping for new passengers. You get on and enjoy great views from a comfortable seat the entire time!

Travel through the city's historic areas and take in the distinctive cityscape. The views are great, and only these classic Remodelado trams, commissioned in the 1930s, are able to navigate the inclines and dramatic twists it takes to get about!

With onboard audio commentary, learn all about the city's unique history as you ride, making it easy to enjoy all that Lisbon provides.

  • Look for the tram stop with two yellow flags and a sign that says Hills Tramcar Tour
  • Please note that Praça do Comércio has multiple tram stops, including for the public transport 28-line trams, which is not the same as this closed-circuit tram
  • Make sure to wait at the designated stop for the red tram. This is the tram you should board, not the public 28-line tram
  • The tram is red and will have a Yellow Tours and Experiences brand sign on the top of the tram
