We had a very good time as a family. The attractions are good and varied, even if kids are not so young. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

During your visit you can learn how it served as a fortress, and as a retreat for Elizabeth I during her tours of the country. Make sure you stop and enjoy the recreated Elizabethan gardens during your visit.
