Step back to the days of the early 20th century, when the Titanic began her first and only voyage. After leaving Southampton, the ship's first stop was at Cherbourg, so it is only fitting that recovered debris should find its way back to the port.

The Titanic: Artefacts and Stories exhibit displays 43 objects recovered from the debris field around the Titanic wreckage. Jewelry, books, card games, beauty accessories, and an on-board telephone are just some of the items that will cast you back to those fateful days.

These personal pieces will help reveal the fate of some of the extraordinary passengers in first, second, and third class: businessmen, a young globetrotter, a wealthy first-class couple, and an Argentinian student expected in New York. Uncover the humanity at the core of the tragedy.
