The easiest way to travel by public transport to the Keukenhof Gardens is to take the Keukenhof Express Bus. You can catch the bus from Schipol Airport. Keukenhof Express (Bus No. 858) will take you to the gardens.

The Keukenhof bike tour is a must! Our family of 4 from NYC loved it. A highlight of our time in Amsterdam and I cannot recommend it highly enough! High quality bikes. A well planned out route. Friendly and knowledgeable guides. Gorgeous flowers. Gorgeous town. It exceeded expectations and we would 100% do this again on any future trip to Amsterdam. The Keukenhof garden was of course a very pretty place to walk around and it was nice to do as well, but the highlight for sure was the bike tour. (The Bike Tour team was also incredibly kind to us. We had logistical challenges that morning and arrived late and they could have just sent us away... but they went above and beyond... and had a member of their team get us on our bikes and pedaled with us to catch up to the rest of the group. They are very nice people and we were so appreciative.)

We knew that visiting the Van Gogh museum was a must for our trip to Amsterdam but what really made it special was our guide Molina (unsure of spelling!). We learned so much about the life and techniques of the artist and his relationship with his art, family and friends. Well worth getting up early for a tour. Thank you :)
