Alright, so we can't offer you a personal Turkish guide to escort you around Istanbul, but the Istanbul Welcome Card is the next best thing. See the city, get from A to B, and go inside cultural hot spots with one handy card.

The Istanbul Welcome Card consists of ten trips on public transport, a cruise on the turquoise waters of the Bosporus, and tours with a certified local guide to the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and Basilica Cistern.

After each tour you can explore the attractions at your own pace, staying in for as long as you want.

  • Pick up the Welcome Istanbul Card at:
  • Karaköy (Galata Area) Bereketzade, Bankalar Caddesi, Nazlı Han No: 26 D:Kat: 2, 34421 Beyoğlu/İstanbul, Turkey (Daily except Saturdays and Sundays: 09:00 - 19:00)
  • The app does not require internet once it has been downloaded (ensure you have activated GPS)
  • At Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace, there is a mandatory security line that, in high season, might take up to 30 minutes
