Apollo: When We Went to the Moon explores the history of space travel and the people who made it possible. See how the Space Race encouraged Americans to dream big.

It's located in the Space Shuttle Pavilion, the permanent place for the Space Shuttle Enterprise, at the Intrepid Museum. This 9,000-square-foot exhibition is the museum's largest temporary show ever.

The U.S. Space & Rocket Center's staff and Flying Fish, a top exhibition company, worked together on Apollo: When We Went to the Moon.

It gives you a closer look at the Space Race days and the effort behind the International Space Station program. The exhibition is packed with interactive displays, artifacts, and learning opportunities!

A museum housed on an aircraft carrier that happens to also be a national historic monument. The USS Intrepid actually served in World War II and Vietnam and helped out NASA in recovery missions.

Stacked with cool aircraft, including the Lockheed A-12 Blackbird and the Concord, plus space shuttles. It’s docked right on the Hudson River, waiting for you to come aboard and enter the Danger Zone.

If you ask questions to the people who are there to be asked, you'll have a good time. They really know what they are saying and they love doing it.
