The access route to the Castell was well signposted and we had no problem to find the entrance. We were a few minutes early, but the entrance gate was opened exactly on time.
We had pre-bought our tickets and hence access was easy. The gentleman at the reception was very friendly and helpful and provided us with brochures explaining the various sites in English. This is very necessary because the signage is in Spanish and Catalan.
The videos and the exhibits in different halls were interesting and well done.
As this is a well preserved and partly restored 14th Century castle, I think that more financial support directed at the hitherto unrehabilitated parts of the castle would add value to this Catalan heritage site.
Because the historic context of the castle since the 14th Century is not generally well known, consideration could be given to producing a booklet (for sale) on the castle and thereby adding more value.
In any case it was a very enjoyable visit.
