As Florence’s only royal palace, Palazzo Pitti is a must-see on the city’s tourist trail. It's also the largest museum complex in the City of Lilies; at some 32,000 square meters this is a residence fit for absolute rulers - from grand dukes to kings and emperors.

After enjoying its architecture you can't miss visiting its surroundings, the exotic plants of Boboli Gardens. Of equal beauty, Bardini Gardens offer what is widely considered to be the most beautiful panoramic view over Florence.

Good
The tiqets are easy to shop, we skipped the line and that was ideal as there always is a line! Only thing i would say is that i wish we had known half of the Pitti was closed for renovations.

Good
OK but not a great time-saver as you still have to swap the confirmation for a ticket.
