This experience was okay. Through Spur Experiences, we had thought we had chosen a small group (~25) excursion but this ended up being more than 60 people. The meeting location was very vague: we...
This experience was okay. Through Spur Experiences, we had thought we had chosen a small group (~25) excursion but this ended up being more than 60 people. The meeting location was very vague: we were told to meet on a corner of a plaza and a street but the group actually was meeting on a straightaway at a bus stop. It would have been much more clear if the directions were to meet at that bus stop, where we could more easily map ourselves to. The majority of the day was travel: it was a 12 hour day and 8 hours of that was spent traveling. Understandable since Cinque Terre is a ways away from Florence but still unfortunate. The tour guides were great at shuttling all those people around and we enjoyed the free time we had. Overall, it was not what we thought we signed up for but ended up being a fine day.
