Starting point

190 Via Ghibellina, 50122, Florence

Start your journey at Antica Spezieria Erboristeria San Simone Firenze store and artisanal laboratory. Learn the techniques of the historical Florentine alchemical tradition from a master perfumer. The lesson combines scientific knowledge of medical care with an understanding of the healing properties of herbs, flowers, and fruits.

See glassware, ampoules, and rare essences that alchemists and apothecaries used in Renaissance Florence. Follow in the historical footsteps of Catherine de Medici and René le Florentin as the master perfumer guides you through creating your own custom-made perfume.

At the end of the workshop, receive a 30 ml bottle of your personalized fragrance. Each participant also gets a certificate as a keepsake of the day.
