Nestled in the scenic river valley on 158 acres of wooded parkland, Fort Edmonton Park takes you on a journey through the city’s rich history.

Explore life through the diversity of First Nations and Métis Peoples' histories and perspectives at the huge Indigenous Peoples Experience exhibit. The stories, music, artwork, and text in the experience come from local Indigenous perspectives and voices, gathered through research and engagement with local Indigenous communities.

Board the 1919 Baldwin Steam Engine Train and be whisked around the park. This iconic attraction takes you on a journey through Edmonton's past, from the Fur Trade to the Roaring Twenties. Discover the 1846 Hudson’s Bay Company Fort, explore a model of the original fort set up in Edmonton, participate in demonstrations by live interpreters, and more.

Get involved in rides, games, an outdoor maze, a funhouse and the amazing Cabinet of Curios exhibit, all inside the 1920s-style midway.

Excellent
It was amazing. The best day out. It had everything and more. It was suitable for all ages. So interesting. The characters were so realistic and informative.it was a beautiful place.

It was excellent! This is highly recommended. I feel like I’m in the west world themed park , being transported from one era to another . The indigenous experience is also so touching!
