As a Dub I really enjoyed the experience. But I think it's better suited to the tourist market.

EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum
Brilliant use of multimedia and overall a great experience.
However, there was no mention made of the 1980s emigration which was massive. I was one of the hundreds of thousands to leave Ireland then and feel that we have been forgotten.
Coverage of the "Famine" was also very skimpy with no reference made to the role of the English government in this disaster.

EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum
Very well done museum with interesting displays and good use of media. Interesting history and fun displays about Irish entertainment towards the end. You need at least two hours to go round it properly! Also an excellent little “mall” with several coffee shops and restaurants and plenty of seating for relaxing. I would definitely go for another visit!

EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum
This is a fascinating interactive experience museum-
There’s lots of aspects of Irish life and emigration to read about watch and listen-
It’s too much for one visit- I will go back and learn some more!
Really enjoyed this!

EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum
A primarily multi-media experience which offered no artifacts but was a bit thin on history. It was possible to see most of it in a couple of hours. I found that a lot of the information about innovation and science and literature left me wondering who all these people were as I know too little about the intellectual life of Ireland. Likewise many of the artists were completely new to me.
