Meeting point
Heuston Station, St John's Rd W, DublinDiscover Ireland's southern capital on a day tour from Dublin, and experience the timeless charm and culture of Cork. Depart from Dublin Heuston Station and meander the emerald-green patchwork of countryside by train, and arrive at Cork by 09:35. There, a comfy coach awaits to whisk you through Cork City en route to Blarney Village. Hop off to explore the historic Blarney Castle & Gardens and kiss the fabled Blarney Stone, said to bestow you with powers of eloquence ('the gift of the gab'). Don't worry, WHO-approved hygiene and safety measures are in place!
Once you've conquered the castle and claimed the gift of the gab, the tour will ramble toward Cóbh, for a visit to St. Colman’s Cathedral. The coach will then proceed down along the seafront towards to a beautifully restored Victorian railway station that is now the Cóbh Heritage Centre, home to the Queenstown Story. The centre also houses a wealth of information about the Great Famine and subsequent Irish Emigration.
