Satisfy your appetite for chocolate in the city's harbor, and get to the sweet center of chocolatey education even quicker with this smartphone ticket that lets you enter without waiting in line.

The Chocolate Museum is dedicated to sweet seduction and gives its guests a comprehensive explanation on the history of cocoa and chocolate. This begins with the Aztecs and cocoa as the "food of the gods" and ends with the pleasurable variety we enjoy today.

See a variety of historic chocolate machines from the time of industrialization, discover how your favourite sweet treats are made, and enjoy an unbeatable view of the Rhine in the museum café with its 30-meter-long panoramic windows.

Learn about the 5,000-year history of chocolate in a museum that feels like you're on a ship! The journey begins with the pre-Columbian cultures of the Americas, such as the Mayas and the Aztecs, then takes you through the Baroque period and industrialization, and ends with the chocolate products of today.

A highlight of the exhibit is a walk-through tropical house with cocoa trees. In the glass chocolate factory, it is vividly shown how chocolate bars, hollow figures and pralines are made industrially, but also by hand by master chocolatiers.

At the three-meter-high chocolate fountain – formed from golden cocoa beans – 200 kilograms of delicious chocolate flow continuously for tasting. The museum itself is so stunning that it is also a popular venue for weddings, and sweet dreams come true at the on-site café so make sure to grab something to treat your tastebuds.

Pass the ticket counter and go directly to the entrance to have your smartphone ticket scanned.

It is good, very interesting, specially the historical part and some actual facts you find out. Make sure you have 1€ coins to get chocolate bars out of an old school machine. If you want to make your own bar it costs 5,90€ and you need to pick up earlier in 45 minutes. Everything was nice, I was only a bit disappointed because I thought you could try a lot of Lindor as see a in social media, but apparently you can only do this in Zurich.
