The Greater Cincinnati Police Museum is a time capsule that's full of unique, fascinating artifacts relating to the history of law enforcement in the Greater Cincinnati area.
Inside you'll be able to browse all sorts of exhibits. You'll learn about Handsome, the dog who patrolled one of the toughest beats in the city, known as “Rat Row”. You can pore over old uniforms and equipment, including pistols, polygraph machines, homemade nail bombs, and much more. The museum galleries also remember and celebrate police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.
Put yourself in a police officer's boots with the Law Enforcement Situation Simulator. You'll face real-life situations in a virtual setting to experience the split-second decisions officers make every day.
Billing itself as the only regional law enforcement museum in the world, the Greater Cincinnati Police Museum is one of few police museums in the country that operates without accepting municipal or state funds.
Show your smartphone ticket at the entrance. Free and convenient parking is available for patrons of the Police Museum. Signs have been erected designating all space between 306 and 318 Reading Road as Police Museum Parking.
