A great museum, I spent the whole day there, didn't have time for the planetarium and I thought I'd do both on the same day. A lot of varied items to see, lots of dinosaur replica skeletons, wild...
A great museum, I spent the whole day there, didn't have time for the planetarium and I thought I'd do both on the same day. A lot of varied items to see, lots of dinosaur replica skeletons, wild animals, cultural items from far away, meteors and precious gems. A lot of the areas were closed off though which was disappointing, you could still walk thru but the casings had paper over them so you couldn't see what was there. Didn't think much of the bistro or the shop but because the museum was so big i had a great day. Very easy to get there via bus 146 from the centre of Chicago. Also close to Soldier Field, Aquarium and Planetarium as well as a lovely walk around the lake front on a nice day.

It was a great experience. My first time ever visiting your museum. It made me feel like I was in the movie Night at the Museum. I will definitely bring my children as a family event.

Well didn't get to skip the line still had to wait in line at the museum to see cashier to have stuff added to tickets but all in all had a great time
