Cité de Carcassonne
The Cité de Carcassonne is the fortified core of the famous walled city of Gallo-Roman origin in southern France. It consists of double defensive walls punctuated by 52 watchtowers, a castle with a museum, a Gothic cathedral, and impressive historic buildings within the enclosure. It's also the inspiration for the beloved table game Carcassonne. It's been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997.

We came from a cruise boat and had limited time at the castle and in the city. I would highly recommend purchasing these tickets. We've been traveling Europe for 6 weeks and have purchased different tickets through this website several times. It's been a real help and lifesaver while traveling Europe during the peak season.
