Start at Esentepe for views over Göreme Valley. Next, visit one of Cappadocia’s underground cities, exploring tunnels and chambers.

Then take a 4 km walk along the Melendiz River in Ihlara Valley, passing rock-cut churches and greenery. Have lunch on the riverside with traditional Turkish dishes in Belisirma Village (at your own expense).
