This amazing private tour from Cape Town takes you to some of the most spectacular viewpoints and most isolated, serene beaches in South Africa.

Along the way you'll pass by a number of iconic Cape Town neighbourhoods and have several animal encounters, including the chance to see seals, and penguins. Your tour also includes time at Cape Point – one of the top tourist destinations in South Africa – that promises stunning ocean views and a rich variety of wildlife.

Your tour itinerary:

You'll be whisked away from your Cape Town hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle and shown the sights of the city, namely colourful Bo-Kaap and luxurious and scenic Camps Bay. From there, continue your drive down the peninsula towards Duiker Island for some seal spotting.

After seeing seals in the ocean, your journey takes you to Chapman's Peak Drive where you can soak in South Africa's stunning scenery as you head toward your next stop – Cape Point Ostrich Farm. Spend some time in the company of the world's largest and fastest bird before you reach the bottom of the peninsula to drink in dramatic ocean vistas from Cape Point.

You'll also drive to the Cape of Good Hope to see the currents of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet.

Before you head back to your Cape Town hotel, there's one last stop. Penguins. Drive up the other side of the peninsula toward Boulders Beach where you'll find tiny African penguins chilling in crystal-clear waters and plodding around the white sand beach.

  • Provide your pickup location in Cape Town when booking the tour

From a history standpoint it was really informative as our guide gave us to beginning to end history of South Africa. He pointed out every city that we passed and gave some history of each place as well as how apartheid affected South Africans. The penguins were the last stop on the tour and it was one of the best parts. You have to pay for the penguins entrance as well as one other. Overall this your was pretty good. I don’t know if the wine tour was a part of the tour but our guide took us there. I did feel rushed though as I did for many other parts of the tour as he told us that he just had so much for us to see and we just had to keep time. We didn’t see Seal Island or one other stop but the lighthouse was cool and so were the views.
