It's a full day full of adventure ahead in Kuranda, tucked away in a World Heritage Rainforest. You can expect native flora and fauna, an impressive array of fluttering butterflies, and the chance to learn the ins and outs of indigenous culture.

Stop in at the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary, where you'll be surrounded by thousands of butterflies. Can you spot the rare Cairns Birdwing?

Keep the animal theme going with a visit to the award-winning Rainforestation Nature Park, where you can feed a kangaroo and meet a cassowary. You can even take a tour on an historic World War II Army Duck.

At the Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience, get a few lessons in culture with a colorful tribal rainforest dance, and tuck into a sumptuous lunch. There's the chance to test a boomerang and learn how spears were used for hunting.

You'll also get to enjoy the Kuranda Scenic Railway and the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway as part of your transfers.

The scenic rail was very good and the historical information was interesting. The butterfly enclosure was stifling and difficult to really spend time in. Kuranda village was a good spot to walk...
The scenic rail was very good and the historical information was interesting. The butterfly enclosure was stifling and difficult to really spend time in. Kuranda village was a good spot to walk around and buy souvenirs & refreshments. The Rainforestation activity was interesting but could have run faster. The lunch was a generous buffet. Skyrail was cancelled because of a storm. The tour guide looked after us well and we had a schedule of the activities.
