Highlights
  • Spend a wonderful day in the wellness center of Europe. Start with an aromatherapy massage or relax in one of the 18 pools. Great for body AND soul!
  • The medicinal bath is known for its healing effect on joints. Don't miss the sauna and steam rooms, too
  • Jazz things up and use the gym. Or pull some laps in the pool. Have you ever played chess in your swimsuit, while enjoying the hot water? You can do that, too (bring your pieces)!
Description

Széchenyi Spa Baths make up the largest medicinal bath in Europe. With 15 indoor pools, saunas, steam rooms and 3 huge outdoor pools, you'll be bathing in utter bliss and boosting your health at the same time. Get spa access (plus massage) with this deal and feel the high concentration of minerals in the water making your skin baby soft. This delicious indulgence should be part of any trip to Budapest.

The idea of thermal baths was popular with the Romans, who introduced them here. This trend was continued by the Turks, who spent a fair amount of time lounging about after taking over. So the tradition of healthful soaks is centuries-strong here.

At Széchenyi Spa Baths you'll enjoy hot tubs, saunas, and jet-powered underwater massages. Plus there's a gym, if you want to 'earn' your soaks. However you partake in these healthful activities, we recommend you stay hydrated with a couple glasses of cold mineral water.

AROMA RELAX MASSAGE

Complete your spa visit with a 20-minute Aroma Relax Massage. This Swedish technique focuses on relaxing your upper body and the massage oil will help you on your journey to knot-free serenity.

The thermal pools and massages are amazing! Very healing.
The staff was very friendly.

Skip the line well worth the money. Lovely baths, 2 of the 3 outdoor pools were open.
Reasonably priced drinks sold at "beer spa's"
Excellent massage, I didn't think 20mins would be long enough but for anyone considering it, it is definitely worth it!!
Finally private cabin upgrade worth it. Cabins are allocated to an individual and can only be accessed with a wristband you wear during your day. Take your own towels and shower gel!

Very crowded. Inside spas have a terrible odor. Only one outdoor pool. One is a swim lane pool. One under construction.

Excellent thermal baths...we booked our tickets in advance so it was very quick through the queue..would recommend bring in flip flops with you.. we hired bathrobes and towels it was approx 24000 forint and we got 14000 forint back when we returned them...this is one place you have to visit in Budapest..Great value for 39euros which included a 20 minute aroma massage and a cabin each..

Great experience but bring your own towel because the queue was too long and the same queue was used to return your towel, that’s the only negative

Def worth a visit

Good value for money. The pools, saunas and steam rooms are nice. The massage was pretty average and the cabins are very small. However I would recommend.

Great place to visit - book well in advance to ensure you get the full package though.

The massage was terrible, the atmosphere was not relaxing either. The spa was dirty also.
