Great Synagogue + Jewish Quarter Walking Tour
We did the 10am tour and there were about 8 of us with our guide, Daniel. It was a cold, wet day in Budapest and we started with the Jewish Museum and Synagogue, where we got a proper guided tour around with loads of info. Some of the group left before the second half - a walk around the Jewish Quarter, which worked out better as it felt like a more personal tour. We saw a lot of places we wouldn't have found otherwise, even a hidden pub inside an old brothel! This tour is a great way to start out on your first day, with soaking up the history of Budapest, and you'll meet some interesting people too. We bumped into our guide randomly the next day and he was kind enough to show us another top photo spot!

Excellent tour and guide, although we didn’t walk the Jewish quarter.
