New England Aquarium hosts over a million visitors every year. Meet African penguins and Atlantic harbor seals, discover the mind-blowing intelligence of Pacific octopuses, and learn about the diet of Boston-abundant American lobsters. Stroke sharks without risking your arms at the touch pool, and marvel at a world of color inside the Indo-Pacific coral reef exhibit.

The Harvard Museum of Natural History houses the Ivy League school's extensive collection of specimens and artifacts.
