How to get there by public transport: * Tram D Station Schloss Belvedere * Train & S-Bahn, Tram 18, O Station Quartier Belvedere * Underground U1 Station Südtiroler Platz / Hauptbahnhof

  • For the upcoming facade renovation on the north and west sides of the Upper Belvedere, scaffolding will be erected. Over this, a scaffold net will be stretched, replicating the north and west sides of the exterior facade. During this time, the entrance area will not be affected in any way. This measure aims for completion by Q4 2024.

The Belvedere is well worth taking time to visit. You can get much closer to the Kiss than you can the Mono Lisa and it is large. There are many other artworks worth your attention. The Belvedere...
The Belvedere is well worth taking time to visit. You can get much closer to the Kiss than you can the Mono Lisa and it is large. There are many other artworks worth your attention. The Belvedere Palace is ornate and worth a look round for the decor. The Vienna Giant Ferris Wheel is a pleasant way to spend 15 minutes. You can see some of the city but the ride is the thing. It is set in a large amusement park (although rides largely closed in February). Summer will no doubt see all the rides open.
