Highlights & Description

  • Explore this iconic six-floor building and its 10 interpretive and interactive galleries, taking you through the stories, sights, sounds – and even smells – of Titanic
  • See movie director James Cameron's recently redeveloped galleries, showcasing the ship's launch day and maiden voyage, and HD footage of what Titanic looks like today
  • Walk aboard the SS Nomadic, one of the service boats for the Titanic. Recently restored to its full 1911 glory, this is the last remaining White Star Line ship in the world

It wasn't the 'World’s Leading Tourist Attraction of 2016' for nothing. At Titanic Belfast you can walk on the deck, meet a survivor who worked in the restaurant (a hologram, of course), learn about the making of the ship and the lives of the passengers, plus see artefacts from the Titanic itself!

Did you know that Titanic’s funnels were wide enough to drive a train through? Or that some of the top facilities most passengers never got to use included a gym, a pool, Turkish baths, a kennel for first-class dogs and a squash court?

There's probably plenty that even the most passionate Titanic fans don't know, but all will be revealed here at the world's largest Titanic visitor experience, at the very place Titanic herself was designed, built, and launched in May 1911!

Get ready to meet the chief designer, head off on a shipyard journey and learn about local craftsmen and passengers, all of whom took that fateful first and final voyage in April 1912.

Plus, thanks to HD footage and interactive pods you can see items still down in the wreckage off the coast of Newfoundland.

Another highlight is exploring the SS Nomadic. This luxurious boat is the last White Star Line ship in existence. In addition to ferrying passengers out to ships like RMS Olympic and RMS Titanic, it served as a minesweeper and troop ship in both World Wars. Recently restored, this is an interactive and fully immersive visitor experience.

Numerous celebs have raved about their Titanic Belfast experience, including HRH Queen Elizabeth, David Cameron and even Hillary Clinton. Near, far, wherever you are, you won't regret this particular voyage to a Belfast highlight.

  • Please go to the box office and you'll receive the next available timeslot to enter the Titanic Experience
  • Please note that Titanic Belfast operates on a timed entry system. Timeslots for entry have a limited capacity and, during peak periods, visitors may be subject to wait for the next available timeslot. Keep this in mind when making your travel arrangements
  • It's recommended that you visit the SS Nomadic while waiting to enter the galleries

Excellent immersive exhibition. Easy to follow. Informative and entertaining. Only downside was that you had to exchange the Tiqet ticket for an exhibition ticket at the ticket office.
