Once home to the wealthy Simi de Burgis family, this palace has strong influences from Renaissance architecture. The site itself can be traced all the way back to the Roman Empire, and at one point it was even a Byzantine church.
The rich history of the site has left numerous archaeological treasures for you to discover. After you've explored above ground – and admired the white stone staircase – you can see relics, and the building's foundations as they would have been centuries ago.
