Walk around with your audio guide and see the original furniture used by the chocolatier Antoni Amatller Costa (1851-1910) and his family. This man was a bit of an early Willy Wonka – he traveled Europe visiting chocolate factories, and inherited the family business from his father and uncle before turning 25.

This visit ends with a morsel of wonderful chocolate and a drink which, like the visit, and the helpful and aimable staff leave a very pleasant taste in your mouth.
Casa Amatller, a wonderful experience indeed.Thank you Tiquets, for rearranging our visit when we had to change the day at such short notice. Well done !
Though the bigger and more touristy Casa Battlo is right next door, if you are looking for something less noisy yet soaked in history, Casa Amattler should be on your list.
The guides were pretty knowledgeable. And, the hot chocolate toward the end just capped it off for me.
