Visit the Barcelona Aquarium in Port Vell, one of Barcelona’s main attractions. It has been updated with new spaces and displays that focus on marine life and environmental education.
At the entrance, you’ll see an interactive digital floor and new areas such as Journey to the Depths, an immersive room.
The aquarium includes more than 80 tanks, both Mediterranean and tropical, with around 11,000 animals from 600 species.
Walk through an 80 m underwater tunnel in the Oceanarium, where you can see sharks, moray eels, rays, and other marine life.
There are interactive areas for visitors of all ages. In Aqua Protectors, children can create a digital fish and see it on screen. The mangrove zone includes interactive games and sensory installations for learning.
Your ticket also includes access to the Planeta Aqua exhibition, which explains how species adapt to their environments and features animals such as penguins, jellyfish, axolotls, and stonefish.
After your visit, you can use the on-site facilities, including a restaurant, café, and shop.
