Amazingly smooth ride up and down the mountain. The que moves really quickly but I can imagine in the night of summer there is a fair bit of waiting in line involved. We went in late May and the volume of people was comfortable.
It’s a must to walk the board walk up to the old station house. The views are just breathtaking.
One of our party decided to walk down which he found exciting and invigorating. A word of caution however, the first part of the journey down took longer than expected due to snow and ice on the path. Probably worth having a pair of ice shoe covers on.
A trip not to miss if you are in the area.

Booked early to miss queue also had clear views as haze arrived by 1.30 worth getting up little earlier
