  • The aquarium at ARTIS Zoo is closed for refurbishment until further notice
  • Clean air for all – ARTIS is a smoke-free park
  • ARTIS grounds are for the most part, accessible to wheelchair, walker and mobility scooter users. Only the entrance to the Japanese Garden is less accessible to wheelchairs
  • Assistance dogs are permitted, they need to be registered at the ticket office upon presentation of dog identification card showing that the dog has been trained.

Getting There:

Tram 14 stops at the ARTIS, close to the main entrance. Tram 7 and 19 stop at Alexanderplein, a ten-minute walk from the main entrance. The nearest metro station is Waterlooplein, it is a ten-minute walk to ARTIS-Micropia.
