  • Walk along the Caminito del Rey's famous canyon walkways in complete safety
  • Take advantage of round trip transportation from different areas of the Costa del Sol and Malaga
  • Enjoy a spectacle of nature and learn about its history and origin from an expert guide

This day trip from the Costa del Sol allows you to discover El Caminito del Rey – one of the most dangerous walkways in the world!

You'll be hugging a sheer cliff as you walk along paths and footbridges with maximum heights of 105 metres across a total distance of 7.7 kilometres. This excursion is the most comfortable and practical way to visit the Caminito del Rey from Malaga or the Costa del Sol. Your ticket gives you round trip bus transfer, a guided tour, and tickets to the Caminito del Rey.

Your guide will be with you throughout the walk, so once you've accustomed yourself to the heights and the narrow walkway, they'll fill you in on the history and secrets of the area – including what led to the construction of the walkways between the Gaitanes and Gaitanejo gorges.

The walk should take around four hours, during which time you'll pass the Guadalhorce river dam, descend the famous 'chocolate ladder', and pass by plenty of charming Mediterranean vegetation. If you've got the guts, don't forget to take a photo from the transparent platform that has a sheer drop 100 metres beneath it.

Your trip culminates at the suspension bridge in Gaitanes Gorge. From there, return the helmets and arrive at the southern access at El Chorro, where the return bus to Malaga or the Costa del Sol awaits.

Show your digital ticket to the guide at the pick up point selected during the check out.

Excellent
Well worth doing the trip. We were collected and dropped off in Malaga. When booking it was a bit unclear about the pick up times but an online chat sorted that out

Good
Very beautiful trip. The pick-up by bus takes too long. From being picked up in Fuengiola to starting the walk, it takes 3.5 hours. Almost the same on the return trip.
