  • Enjoy the works of 15 other graphic artists from around the world

Plumb the depths of some artistic geniuses at Antwerp's Museum De Reede. Focusing on the works of three artworld heavyweights: Francisco Goya, Félicien Rops, and Edvard Munch, this hidden gem is Belgium's first museum dedicated to graphic art. Only opened in 2017, it rates highly among art lovers.

Get first-hand looks at 25 dark and moody artworks by Edvard Munch. Unsurprisingly, the artist who created The Scream works with intensely evocative psychological themes.

Nearby, Francisco Goya's Los caprichos etchings are a caustic critique of the folly of mankind, religious fanaticism, and the decline of rationality in late 18th century Spain.

There are also some 30 works by influential Belgian printmaker Félicien Rops. Sex and death are prominent themes in his work, which ran counter to the moralistic mood of the times.

Well-curated, with a representative sampling of three artistic greats, this bright and airy museum shines new relevance on three master artists.
