Spend a day at the Nieuwe Kerk and uncover extraordinary treasures, changing exhibitions and a stunning, age-old interior. The 90 Years Ms Monroe exhibition is now on, until February 2017. Take an intimate look into the life and work of uber-star Marilyn Monroe.
Amsterdam's Nieuwe Kerk marks a special relationship with the Dutch Royal Family. Three kings and three queens have sworn their inaugural oath here, and the current king and queen were married here in 2002. But the changing exhibitions are more than enough reason to come along.
Also, don't forget that, just like in the 17th-century, there's live music to be listened to at De Nieuwe Kerk. The organ plays at 12 noon daily (except Tuesdays).
90 Years Ms Monroe - October 1st 2016 till February 2017
Revisit the life and career of one of the world's most famous and desired women, including personal items from her Californian home. These items were left untouched for decades, following the death of the Hollywood star on August 5, 1962. Private collector Ted Stampfer purchased a large part of them in a major auction in 1999, which altogether netted over 13 million dollars. You can now see his collection in this exhibition at the stunning Nieuwe Kerk. Warning: This exhibition is best suited for those who like it hot.

It was so really easy and fast to access. Exhibition was inspiring. Il go back next year for sure
Prachtige aangrijpende foto's. Mooi tentoongesteld. Mooi embiance.
Prachtige World press photo gezien: indrukwekkende foto's, indrukwekkend tentoongesteld, in een indrukwekkende kerk
