The museum's Dare to Discover, exhibit is a VR journey back to the Dutch Golden Age in the 17th century. Stand on board the Transom return ship Amsterdam, see the construction of the Zeemagazijn - now home to the museum, and witness the building of warships!

The ship was very interesting, we were not informed of the commentary devises that you could listen to the explanation of each area, therefore we could not enjoy that experience.

You want to virtually fly the Dutch sky of the last centuries and learn something new about whales, pop up at National Maritime Museum. My kids enjoyed it.

No waiting. Did not allow enough time for all there was to see and do. Helpful staff. Excellent exhibits. Do want to go back.

Very interesting way to have a quick overview of Dutch history. Is' better to visit first this museum and than Rijks Musuem.
