Canal cruise: 1 hour
  • Make it a real Amsterdam day with an hour-long canal cruise and an insightful trip to the wonderful Van Gogh Museum - enjoy skip-the-line access
  • Overload on beauty with a cruise through Amsterdam's picturesque canals, as you pass by the houses and beautiful windows
  • Delve into Van Gogh's unique talent that was really only appreciated after his death

A splendid boat cruise through Amsterdam's canals, plus a trip to the Van Gogh Museum. These are two quintessential Amsterdam activities. If you finish your day off with a tiny glass of Heineken and some raw herring and onions, you'll practically be entitled to a Dutch passport.

When you're in Amsterdam, you want to make the most of your time. This involves sightseeing and visiting the city's world-class museums. With this combi-ticket, you avoid an either/or situation; get access to a one-hour canal cruise through Amsterdam's UNESCO World Heritage canals and a visit to the Van Gogh Museum.

Aboard the ship, you'll see the cultural wealth of 17th-century Amsterdam, with famous and important sights such as the Anne Frank House, the Skinny Bridge, and the Westerkerk.

Before or after the cruise, depending on your timeslot, take the same ticket you used to board the boat, skip the long line at the Van Gogh Museum and show it at the entrance. BOOM! You're in.

The museum has over 200 of his impeccable works including landscapes, still lifes and drawings and letters. You'll also enjoy works by some of Van Gogh’s contemporaries, including Monet and Gauguin, both of whom were a big influence on him.

With just one slick ticket, you'll save money and time, plus scratch two major must-do Amsterdam activities off of your itinerary!

Very convenient and helps “beat the line” for the museum. With all the construction around central station—took a bit of “finding” to get to the correct boat dock.

The line at Van Gogh Museum was not that long, but having the tickets still help. We got in with the electronic tickets on the phone. The canal cruise worked perfectly, partly because we lived close to the central station. When we got off the tram (no. 2) at the central station, the lovers cruise dock was right in front of us. If you don’t plan to go to central station on the same day of visiting Van Gogh Museum, then the combined ticket is probably not for you.

The Van Gogh Museum was excellent. My booking was for 19.00 hours. If possible try
to book an earlier time to have more time in the museam. The canal ride was disappointing because it was in a closed rooftop boat and the view wasn't good. The driver spoke clearly and gave a good overview of places. I would have preferred a smaller open boat.

Van Gogh museum was fabulous and the tickets were great to skip the long line. The canal cruise had people standing all around after being asked to sit by staff and staff did not seem to care after the initial announcement. so we were not able to see any of the sights.
