Das Boot bot eine gute Aussicht und die Route der Tour war interessant. Leider waren die Scheiben oben schnell beschlagen. Manchmal erzählte der Kapitän etwas auf Englisch und parallel lief etwas über Kopfhörer. Das hätte man besser timen können, da man sich so schlecht auf die Kopfhörer konzentrieren konnte. Es waren interessante Fakten, aber es wurde zu wenig erzählt. Nur ab und an erfuhr man etwas.

In one of the most beautiful buildings of the Pijp you will be taken through many centuries of painting on the basis of realistic studies. From the Renaissance to modern times. Or for the art lover: from Leonardo da Vinci to Mondrian. You start at the Garden of Delights, the world-famous triptych by Jeroen Bosch, and The Birth of Venus by Botticelli. Afterwards, you'll come face to face with the Mona Lisa and be guided through centuries of painting through 50 studies of world-famous paintings. Van Gogh, Vermeer, Rembrandt, Monet, Mondrian. You can see them all up close. There is even a room dedicated to Monet where you can imagine yourself in the garden of Monet in Giverny.

Heineken Experience

The Heineken Experience is located in the original Heineken Brewery. Gerard Adriaan Heineken bought this building back in 1863 when it was the De Hooiberg brewery. He then turned it towards the production of his eponymous beer. The building remained a brewery all the way up to 1988. It was then that it became a museum (and hotspot for Heineken consumption). Located in the vibrant neighborhood of De Pijp, the Heineken Experience is ideally situated for a canal cruise, and some city exploration that takes you away from the hustle and bustle of Dam Square. Since 2001, it's been the world-famous Heineken Experience. After a year-long update and redesign in 2008, the Heineken Experience is more Heineken-y and Experience-y than ever before.
