The Al Marmoom Conservation Reserve – located in Dubai – is the United Arab Emirates' first unfenced desert reserve.

If you’re looking for a desert adventure close to Dubai, then you’ll find it here. The reserve encompasses more than 99 acres of desert shrub land and 10 kilometres of lakes. There’s 39 species of plants, 26 identified species of reptiles, and nine of mammals. On top of that, the area also provides sanctuary for 19 endangered animal species, and flocks of 300-500 flamingos.
