Despite some issues with the reservation caused by Tiqets, the staff at the Elding whale watching tour in Akureyri were incredibly kind and understanding. They worked hard to make sure I could still fully enjoy this wonderful experience, even offering a free upgrade to the express tour — which I highly recommend for a more intimate and engaging adventure! Special thanks to our guide, Jonna, and our captain, Sindri, who shared their passion and knowledge with us. Sindri expertly navigated, always on the lookout for whales, while Ionna enriched the trip with fascinating stories and information about whales and the local marine environment. With also lots of of fun! Thank you very much to these people. We were lucky to spot several species, including minke whales surfacing for air and even a small fin above the water.
It was a truly beautiful opportunity to connect with nature and appreciate the beauty and importance of these incredible creatures. I suggest direct booking, if not be sure to contact the provider in order to give them your contact information. Please, enjoy!
