Hockney was a big part of the 1960s pop art movement, and continues to create unique and compelling work \u2013 in 2018, a stained glass window he created using an iPad was unveiled at Westminster Abbey. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hockney&#8217;s exhibition at the Tate Museum a few years ago became the gallery&#8217;s most visited ever, and was met with a similar level of enthusiasm in <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Paris  (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiqets.com\/en\/paris-c66746\" target=\"_blank\">Paris <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiqets.com\/en\/new-york-c260932\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"New York (opens in a new tab)\">New York<\/a>. This influence can be seen especially clearly in Hockney&#8217;s landscapes, celebrating the natural world full of movement, brush marks, and unique detail. <br><br>Van Gogh&#8217;s masterpieces are displayed alongside Hockney&#8217;s most iconic works, drawing the eye towards their shared appreciation for the little details that help turn dried paint into living scenes that spring from the canvas. Hockney&#8217;s imposing Yorkshire landscapes are a central part of the exhibition, with his stunning <em>The Arrival of Spring in Woldgate<\/em>&nbsp;as a highlight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This temporary exhibition at the Van Gogh Museum showcases work by two of the most vibrant and fascinating artists of the last 200 years.
