Heading back once again to the beautiful Kaprun, Austria, our intrepid group of Tiqeteers braved record snowfalls, a lengthy bus ride, and spending four consecutive days with their co-workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/tiqets-cdn\/wordpress\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Tiqetsskitrip2019-3-min.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7535\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"day-1-thursday\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Day 1: Thursday<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Everyone received their official ski trip goodie bags on Thursday morning, featuring stylish beanies, Tiqets jumpers, and a printed copy of the fun-packed itinerary. With palpable excitement, the team set off on their bus ride to Austria!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/tiqets-cdn\/wordpress\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Tiqetsskitrip2019-27-min.jpg\" alt=\"Tiqets ski trip 19\" class=\"wp-image-7538\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>10+ hours never went by so fast, with the vocal stylings of the Performance Marketing team keeping everyone entertained. Lucky listeners were treated to all kinds of genres, from rousing renditions of Queen to pitch-perfect Ariana Grande impressions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/tiqets-cdn\/wordpress\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Tiqetsskitrip2019-15-min.jpg\" alt=\"Tiqets ski trip 18\" class=\"wp-image-7539\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s not to say that there weren&#8217;t some nerves around &#8211; with Code Red weather warnings around much of Austria, there was a possibility that conditions could worsen, leaving Kaprun inaccessible. Luckily, live webcam feeds of the slopes and various Austrian contacts confirmed that conditions in Kaprun were perfect!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/tiqets-cdn\/wordpress\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Tiqetsskitrip2019-16-min-1.jpg\" alt=\"Tiqets ski trip 17\" class=\"wp-image-7542\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/tiqets-cdn\/wordpress\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Tiqetsskitrip2019-13-1-min.jpg\" alt=\"Tiqets ski trip 16\" class=\"wp-image-7545\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Having arrived safely, the tired team of <g class=\"gr_ gr_5 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace\" id=\"5\" data-gr-id=\"5\">wintersport<\/g> enthusiasts retreated to their accommodation: the VAYA fine living resort in Kaprun. Like its name implies, it was the perfect venue for some very fine <g class=\"gr_ gr_9 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-del replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"9\" data-gr-id=\"9\">living,<\/g> and even better sleeping.&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/tiqets-cdn\/wordpress\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Tiqetsskitrip2019-36-min-1.jpg\" alt=\"Tiqets ski trip 14\" class=\"wp-image-7544\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"day-2-friday\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Day 2: Friday<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A restful night gave way to a glorious wintry morning, featuring breakfast boxes for hungry Tiqeteers, including vegetarian and vegan options for the many who requested these!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/tiqets-cdn\/wordpress\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Tiqetsskitrip2019-61-min.jpg\" alt=\"Tiqets ski trip 13\" class=\"wp-image-7551\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/tiqets-cdn\/wordpress\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Tiqetsskitrip2019-47-min.jpg\" alt=\"Tiqets ski trip 12\" class=\"wp-image-7553\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We would like to say that our team outperformed their own expectations<g class=\"gr_ gr_3 gr-alert sel gr_gramm gr_replaced gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear Punctuation only-del replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"3\" data-gr-id=\"3\"><\/g> and that even beginners learned to ski to seriously impressive levels\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/tiqets-cdn\/wordpress\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Tiqetsskitrip2019-46-min.jpg\" alt=\"Tiqets ski trip 10\" class=\"wp-image-7552\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/tiqets-cdn\/wordpress\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Tiqetsskitrip2019-131-min.jpg\" alt=\"Tiqets ski trip 9\" class=\"wp-image-7556\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2026and luckily, that is exactly what we can say! Some people who never touched a ski before in their lives ended up <g class=\"gr_ gr_4 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del\" id=\"4\" data-gr-id=\"4\">gliding<\/g> down the blue piste (well done, Lucie!), while the quality of the instructors helped turn absolute beginners into relatively comfortable <g class=\"gr_ gr_5 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace\" id=\"5\" data-gr-id=\"5\">wintersporters<\/g>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/tiqets-cdn\/wordpress\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Tiqetsskitrip2019-224.jpg\" alt=\"Tiqets ski trip 8\" class=\"wp-image-7560\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The evening featured a delicious dinner and some apres-ski action, with highlights including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><g class=\"gr_ gr_7 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace\" id=\"7\" data-gr-id=\"7\">Rodeling<\/g> down a hill, thankfully featuring helmets and a protective fence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An incredibly cute Japanese baby grooving along to the music<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A rousing speech by Tiqets CEO and pro <g class=\"gr_ gr_8 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace\" id=\"8\" data-gr-id=\"8\">skiier<\/g> Luuc Elzinga<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/tiqets-cdn\/wordpress\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Tiqetsskitrip2019-237-min-1.jpg\" alt=\"Tiqets ski trip 7\" class=\"wp-image-7566\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/tiqets-cdn\/wordpress\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Tiqetsskitrip2019-257-min-1.jpg\" alt=\"Tiqets ski trip 7\" class=\"wp-image-7567\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/tiqets-cdn\/wordpress\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Tiqetsskitrip2019-227-min.jpg\" alt=\"Tiqets ski trip 7\" class=\"wp-image-7564\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"day-3-saturday\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Day 3: Saturday<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Another day, another round of helpful and professional skiing lessons. Well, for some.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/tiqets-cdn\/wordpress\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Tiqetsskitrip2019-284-min.jpg\" alt=\"Tiqets ski trip 6\" class=\"wp-image-7569\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A small group of Tiqeteers decided to take their professional duties to the next level, venue-testing our only current product in Kaprun: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiqets.com\/en\/kaprun-c130704\/tauern-spa-waterworld-zell-am-see-kaprun-p975660\">The Tauern Spa<\/a>. Not content to merely enjoy their holiday, these troopers really took one for the team by visiting this luxury day spa and resort, featuring thermal hot pools, massages, and a fun waterslide. All were tested thoroughly, as professional <g class=\"gr_ gr_20 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling multiReplace\" id=\"20\" data-gr-id=\"20\">rigour<\/g> demands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;It was the best decision of my life&#8221;, Tiqets Content and Community Marketeer Yasmine said, in her official review. Our Tiqets insider tip is to try the apple pie there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/tiqets-cdn\/wordpress\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Tiqetsskitrip2019-286-min-1.jpg\" alt=\"Tiqets ski trip group photo\" class=\"wp-image-7571\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the afternoon, it was time for everyone to put on their finest ski gear for the company photo. Expertly herded into a group, we managed to get this beautiful shot, before the apres-ski festivities at the Pavilion Bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/tiqets-cdn\/wordpress\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Tiqetsskitrip2019-352-min.jpg\" alt=\"Tiqets ski trip 5\" class=\"wp-image-7573\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After taking off the ski gear and putting on something a little more comfortable, the team traveled to a nearby restaurant for a group dinner and to celebrate a very special occasion: our very own Product Intern Guillaume&#8217;s birthday.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/tiqets-cdn\/wordpress\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Tiqetsskitrip2019-279-min.jpg\" alt=\"Tiqets ski trip 4\" class=\"wp-image-7598\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the festivities, some continued to&nbsp;<del>party<\/del>&nbsp;network into the wee hours of the morning, while others retreated to their apartments to get a good sleep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/tiqets-cdn\/wordpress\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Tiqetsskitrip2019-360-min.jpg\" alt=\"Tiqets ski trip 3\" class=\"wp-image-7581\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/tiqets-cdn\/wordpress\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Tiqetsskitrip2019-375-min.jpg\" alt=\"Tiqets ski trip 2\" class=\"wp-image-7617\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/tiqets-cdn\/wordpress\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Tiqetsskitrip2019-386-min.jpg\" alt=\"Tiqets ski trip 1\" class=\"wp-image-7618\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"day-4-sunday\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Day 4: Sunday<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Day 4 featured another lengthy bus trip, this time a little quieter, with a good amount of people tuckered out. Arriving back in Amsterdam late in the evening, most people were able to get trains home to sleep in their own bed for the first time in a while.<br><br>Overall, the second official Tiqets skip trip was a fantastic experience and an especially good opportunity for new team members to get to know everyone.
