The Keukenhof, Rijksmuseum, ARTIS Zoo and A\u2019DAM Lookout were chosen as the Netherlands’ best venues by Tiqets<\/a>\u2019 international tourists.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Monday 29 January, at THIS IS HOLLAND, Tiqets CEO Luuc Elzinga handed out the Tiqets Remarkable Venue Awards for the best museums and attractions in the Netherlands. These Dutch venues have been recognized for their quality and innovation by tourists from all over the world.<\/p>\n

Using over 300,000 reviews from tourists from more than 130 countries, Tiqets was able to find clear winners in each of four categories: Best Museum; Best Family; Best Attraction; and Most Remarkable Venue, awarded to an up-and-coming venue.<\/p>\n

Bart Siemerink, Director of the Keukenhof, which won as Best Attraction, said \u201cWe\u2019re so happy to have won. It\u2019s not just a vote of confidence from Tiqets, it\u2019s a huge compliment from all the visitors we receive from Tiqets every year.\u201d<\/p>\n

The action-packed evening of tourism professionals included presentations on best marketing practices from the Mus\u00e9e d\u2019Orsay<\/a> in Paris and La Pedrera (Casa Mil\u00e0<\/a>) in Barcelona. Both of these high-profile museums welcome millions of tourists each year and are seen as market leaders in attracting visitors and delivering a great customer experience.<\/p>\n
